Miss Linda's Dance Studio
LINDA FEATHERSTONE (OWNER)
Linda started dancing at the age of three. Her formal training was at the Ballet Russe De Monte Carlo in New York City. There she studied with such notables as Maria Swaboda, Wilson Marielli, Leon Danilion & Perry Brunson. She studied at Carnegie Hall with Vlademir Konstantinov, formerly of the Kirov Ballet. She was lead dancer and assistant director with the City Center Ballet of Tampa for 15 years. Linda is also very active with musical theatre and has over 50 musicals to her credit. Linda was an instuctor at Ruth Eckerd Hall for 6 years and has taught dance in the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years. In August 1991 Linda opened her own studio so that she could work with beginners and professionals to share her experience, expertise and love of the arts with her students.
For the past two decades, Ronnie DeMarco's influence in the dance world has encompassed all aspects of dance. He has performed on Broadway, danced as guest artist with many of the all-time greats on TV, and appeared as dance soloist at Carnegie Hall with the American Symphony Orchestra. Since living in Florida, Ronnie has taught at USF, Tampa Prep High School, and Disney World. Ronnie has taught and choreographed for the Broadway Theatre Project with Ann Reinking, and worked with Gregory Hines, Tommy Tune, and the late Gwen Verdon. Ronnie is currently teaching jazz at Miss Linda's Dance Studio.
Darlene Trieste has been belly dancing since 1999. She can be seen performing at The Bay Area Renaissance Festival with friends and family in The Demzarah Gypsy Show where she acts, plays flute and doumbek, and dances with her pet snake, "Zsa Zsa Gaboa". She welcomes you to try her class Monday nights at Miss Linda's Dance Studio.
Tracy has been a licensed Zumba Fitness Instructor since August 2010. She is a current member of the Zumba Instructor Network and attended the 2011 Zumba Instructor Convention. Tracy loves teaching Zumba because "every class is a party!" She is currently teaching at Miss Linda's Dance Studio on Wednesday nights. To read more about Zumba Click here.
Ann has been teaching yoga since 1991. She first studied Maiha Yoga at Swami Satchi Ranandi's Integral Yoga Institute in New York City. She holds many certifications including Integral Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy, and Tri Yoga. Ann has attended workshops studying with Rodney Yee, Richard Miller, Pru Kesiner, Victor Vankootens and many others. She currently teaches at Miss Linda's Dance Studio.
Lorraine is a member of Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television & Radio, and Actor's Equity Association. She is the director of STAGE STRUCK STUDIOS. She teaches all ages, from kids to seniors. Lorraine studied under Avery Schreiber for four years in California, where she learned the Art of Improvisation and was a member of his Troupe. Her love of theatre and the dream of helping anyone who always wanted to try acting, is truly her life's purpose. Lorraine is currently offering acting/improv classes at Miss Linda's Studio.
